On our way from Iowa, home to Pennsylvania, we planned to stay at this campground. However, on our way, our truck had a mechanical issue. So, I called the campground in hopes of them being able to refund some of my money since they would now be able to rent my previously reserved space. I was told on the phone the computer was not showing a refund, so I requested a phone number or email of the manager/owner. I received an incorrect email address, I later found out. After about 3 days with no reply, I went to the website, found another email address and sent my email as a second request. I received an email in reply saying they had not received my first email and they would not be responsible for the breakdown of my truck. I was not asking them to be responsible for the breakdown of my truck, just asking for a little consideration in expenses of someone who is suppose to understand and love the RV lifestyle. Unfortunately, breakdowns are part of the lifestyle. I was shocked that they showed no understanding or consideration. I would not recommend this campground, or even book a stay here again. From the reviews I'm reading and my own experiences, I'm surprised it is a KOA.
Nice place upgrades have been made. Lots of Hollloween activities for the kids the weekend we want. Owners were great we had a medical emergency the weekend we were supposed to arrive. They said we can take your deposit and put it towards a month out and even gave a little up grade on the cabin. Very nice quite place. Love it
Stayed for a day and night only. Staff very friendly and accommodating. FHU, pull-thru Site super long and nice big side yard. Very peaceful and quiet. Pet friendly. Easy access to 80, close to Walmart & other stores and restaurants. Would definitely return.
A few problems with the toilets, but there was always a working one available. This is a smaller, simpler KOA, but perfect for a night of tent camping. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and it's in a beautiful location!
It is an ok place to stop for the night or weekend. It is good 10 to 15 drive from the highway. Easy drive to downtown Toledo. Bathrooms are dated but clean with hot water. A lot of pull thru sites that can accommodate even the largest EVa.
