I would NOT recommend even a enemy to use this individual and hope that if you are already using him he learned from his mistakes that he made on me. Mistakes happen but they were never dealt with I personally have been dealing with them for a year now.
I love that he recommendeds Quickbooks online for his clients because that is what all of my companies are based on.
Let me start out by saying I am a small business owner who started a landscape business not thinking it would get to where it is now in a such a short amount of time. In saying that the bookkeeping side of things have been a real challenge for me because I was learning on the fly while working in the field, doing my own work, estimates and billing. I definitely needed some help from a honest accountant who was willing to help me.
This firm specifically Jeremy Bronson made multiple mistakes when doing my taxes and promising to fix the mistakes of a previous accountant for my small business. He filed my first and second quarter sales tax as a lump sum combined with the 4th quarter rather than filing them each individually late and just paying the small late fees. I have now been dealing with this issue for months spent hours on emails, phone conversations, meetings with new accountant and thousands of dollars trying to get these problems corrected with the payroll company and the department of taxation. It doesn't end there he charged me top dollar for this work to be done even after making these mistakes he tried to charge me almost $2,500 more than the quoted price. He also charged me $1,000 to transfer my business information onto quickbooks which I have since learned all it was was the click of a button from the program I was already using to transfer everything over. At the end of the year he charged me what I thought was a decent price to do my taxes but then I owed money which I was kind of surprised by with a small business with a lot write offs. I have since moved on to a different accountant who did my taxes for a cheaper rate the next year when the business had almost doubled in size and got a return of thousands of dollars with less write offs.
I own a moving company, a landscape company, and I also own several rental properties. My taxes are extremely complex but he makes easy work of it! The key is to provide the information he asks for and of course to follow his guidance.
